Innovation and Creativity
Our team is committed to processes and practices that spark joy. Joy does not hide, shame or cover up the hard things but embraces, accepts, and lifts up.
Our highly trained professional staff, overseen by licensed therapists use a variety of evidence-based approaches to address the whole person: brain, body, beliefs, biology, and behavior.
We at The Production Farm believe in Play, Connection, and Growth. Therefore, we utilize evidence based intervention methods based in attachment research to address your child and work through their plans with their care team. As play is proven to be essential in child development and addressing early childhood trauma, our program is play based. This is in order to speak to the child in a way that they understand, give them a forum to feel safe and understood, as well as provide them with different ways to express themselves in their unique way. Our providers will build rapport and create connections with the youth, modeling appropriate communication, boundaries, and strategies for connection with others. Each youth has full access to our art studio, music studio, carpentry studio, ACCESS camps and gardens.
Grow with Access
We know not having basic needs met is a barrier to health and healing, therefore we also offer resources and support as far as helping to provide food, clothing, transportation and personal hygiene items. We also provide access to different interests and vocations with access to organizations and master class teachers that teach gardening, art, music, filmmaking, carpentry, and much more.
We connect with other organizations like Black Frog Farm & Sunrise Horse Farms to build powerful bonds between the youth we work with and our community. The youth also build close relationships with animals to build self-confidence as they work through their mental and behavioral goals. These partnerships allow us to build additional job training skills and resources.
Community Connection
Learn through Play
What might look on the surface to simply be play time is in fact an extremely intentional, evidence-based process to facilitate growth, healing and mental well-being. We teach individuals about their bodies and their sensations through play and experiential learning.
Comprehensive Community Services
Psychosocial Skill Development Services are provided within the client's home, at our farm, at our offices or within the community. We work collaboratively with the individual and their chosen care team to work towards their established goals. The DHS County Facilitator helps to coordinate and design the recovery plan. Our programs are currently operational in both Sheboygan and Manitowoc counties, however we aim to serve Northeast Wisconsin communities.
Children's Long Term Support Waiver
The Production Farm, in collaboration with DHS Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program provides our outside-the-box psychosocial skill building at the client's home, at our farm, at our offices, or within the community. We service Northeast Wisconsin communities.
