Bringing Mental Health Support Directly to Schools
Creating safe, supportive spaces for students to learn, grow, and thrive through therapy, skills development, and trauma-informed education
What Are School-Based Services?
Our school-based programs bring therapy, skills development, and trauma-informed education directly into schools. By embedding mental health support within the learning environment, we remove barriers to access and provide students with the tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
What We Offer:
Presentations and Workshops: Educational presentations for students, educators, and families to increase understanding of mental health, trauma, and resilience.
Skill Development Groups: Small group sessions focused on communication, emotional regulation, and coping tools.
Alternative-to-Expulsion Placements: Support for students to address the root causes of behavioral challenges.
Teacher Support and Training: Trauma-informed care and resiliency training for educators to foster safer, more connected classrooms.
Individual Therapy: Trauma-informed, play-based therapy tailored to the student’s needs.
"Thanks to The Production Farm’s personalized approach, a student who once avoided school entirely has transitioned back into full-time attendance. Their patient, step-by-step support transformed the school environment from a place of fear to a space for growth and success."
Why School-Based Services Work
Meeting Students Where They Are
By providing mental health support directly in schools, we create safe, accessible, and familiar environments where students can thrive.
Improved Access: Removing barriers like transportation and scheduling to ensure students get the support they need.
Whole-Student Support: Addressing mental health, emotional regulation, and behavioral needs to promote academic success.
Trauma-Informed Approach: Helping students process challenges, build resilience, and develop tools to navigate life’s difficulties.
Support for Educators: Equipping teachers and staff with trauma-informed training to recognize and respond to students’ needs effectively.
All programs are designed and implemented by trained professionals, including TBRI Practitioner Katie Heinzen, LPC, and a team of licensed therapists.
